MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine honored its seniors in style by drubbing Penn State New Kensington 10-0 on Saturday afternoon in the regular-season finale for both teams.
With the victory, Brandywine (9-8, 8-1 PSUAC) earned the No. 1 seed in next week's PSUAC Tournament. The Lions will host a semifinal match Thursday afternoon at 3:00 pm against either Penn State York or Penn State Greater Allegheny.
Brandywine has won each of the last two PSUAC titles and advanced to the USCAA Tournament in 2013 and 2014.
Bill Walleekendeh (Chester, Pa./Chester) scored three times and added a pair of assists. Seven different Lions each tallied one goal and Nick Abhulimen (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) registered two assists.
Brandywine netted seven goals during the first 45 minutes and continued to cruise in the second half, notching three more goals.
