Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Lions travelled out to Highmark Stadium this Wednesday to play the Carlow Celtics. The Lions put up three goals on the board in the 1st half and finished off the 2nd half with one more. New Kensington third year, Jacob Guerrini (Lower Burrell, Pa.), assisted by second year Benjamin Gigliotti (Punxsutawney, Pa.) put the first point on the board for the Lions during minute 21. Less than a minute later, sophomore Ethan Hutcherson (Fairfax, Va.) upped the score to 2-0, and a minute later, Hutcherson scored the third goal for the Lions. The scoring ended in the second half when Guerrini scored again with 30 minutes left in the game. The Lions look to take on Mont Alto on Saturday, September 30th.
