New Kensington struggled to get their offense going on Saturday, getting easily dispatched by Brandywine, 8-0.

A double by Molly Collins in the second inning was a positive for New Ken.

April Lewandowski led things off in the pitcher's circle for Brandywine. The bulldog allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Olivia Waldrop was in the circle for New Ken. The pitcher went four innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, striking out one and walking one.

Brandywine socked two home runs on the day. Kaylee Mushinski had a four-bagger in the fifth inning. Destiny Brophy went yard in the fifth inning.

Collins went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead New Ken in hits.

Brandywine scattered ten hits in the game. Mushinski, Emily Reagan, Payton Landis, and Farrell Everett all managed multiple hits for Brandywine. Mushinski led Brandywine with three hits in three at bats.
