Schuylkill Holds Off New Kensington

Both teams were strong in the circle on Friday, but Schuylkill was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over New Kensington on Friday. Addyson Gregg started the game for New Kensington and recorded 100th strikeout of the season.

New Kensington lost despite out-hitting Schuylkill six to three.

Gregg started the game for New Ken. The hurler allowed three hits and two runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking zero.

New Kensington totaled six hits in the game. Olivia Waldrop, Gregg, and Delaney Sierka all collected multiple hits for New Ken. Sierka, Gregg, and Waldrop each collected two hits to lead New Ken.
