New Kensington, PA - Addyson Gregg shut down Mont Alto, throwing a complete game shutout and leading New Kensington to a 1-0 victory on Monday 

The pitching was strong on both sides. Gregg struck out five, while Kirsten Dell sat down four. 

One bright spot for Mont Alto was a double by McKenna Sas in the first inning. 

Gregg led things off on the rubber for New Kensington. The hurler surrendered zero runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out five and walking one. 

Dell started the game for Mont Alto. Dell lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and one run while striking out four and walking zero. 

Kali Barnett led New Ken with two hits in three at bats. New Ken was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
