Freshman Delaney Sierka (Bethel Park, PA) collected four hits in four at bats, as New Kensington defeated Westmorland County Community College 29-3 on Tuesday. Sierka singled for all four at bats.

The Lions secured the victory thanks to 15 runs in the first inning. The offensive firepower by New Kensington was led by Senior  Molly Collins (Verona, PA), Freshmen Antonia Velasquez (Aliso Viejo, CA), Keeghan Cook (Allison Park,PA), Madison Hoyt (Dubois, PA), Addyson Gregg (Carlisle, PA), and Sierka, all Knocking in runs in the inning.

Gregg toed the rubber for New Kensington. Gregg went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out five and walking zero.

The Lions launched one home run on the day. Gregg had a homer in the first inning.

New Kensington totaled 18 hits in the game. Sophomore Elliott Ferrent (Punxsutawney, PA), freshmen Kali Barnett (Ellwood City, PA), Sierka, Velasquez, and Gregg each managed multiple hits for the Lions.
