New Kensington, PA --- Penn State New Kensington won against Penn State Shenango on Saturday, Feb. 3rd. 

The first half was a big moment for PSNK's Aubrey Feaster II (Buffalo, NY) who scored his 1,000th point during the game on Feb. 3rd.  Feaster is a third-year guard who has been averaging 19. 3 points per game with a free throw percentage of 73.6 and field goal percentage of 53.9.  

"It is great to see the hard work paying off for Aubrey. He is a tremendous player, but an even better human and I couldn't be happier with his achievement," said PSNK's Coach Brant Mack. "He's only a junior and is going to accomplish so much more on the court and off the court. We are looking forward to seeing all his success." 

It started with both teams tied at 2-2 until New Ken put the scoreboard in their favor. With 8- minutes left, Feaster scored 5 points before scoring a 3-pointer that brought in his 1,000th point. 

Shenango caught up, yet New Ken took the first half with 1- point ahead.  

The halftime score was 36-35. 

Entering the second half, Ta'Rasi Means (Plum, PA) scored 6 points, putting PSNK at 42. Overall, Means scored 18 points this half which helped PSNK take the win at 83.  

Throughout the game, Means scored 28 points, along with 18 points from Feaster and 15 points from Jadyn Benson (Chicago, Ill.) which contributed tremendously to their final score. Additionally, PSNK's 49.2% free throw and 66. 7% field goal also contributed to PSNK's win. 

 The final score was 83 - 66.  

Coach Mack said, "The team has been working hard and fine tuning some things. We faced a lot of adversity over the last couple of months which has forced us to improve. We are playing a lot harder and more disciplined."
