PSNK Loses to GA

New Kensington, PA ---- Penn State New Kensington fell short behind Penn State Greater Allegheny on Tuesday, Jan. 23rd.

Penn State New Kensington took a strong lead in the first half, despite a few close calls.

It started with Penn State New Kensington earning 9 points with assists between Jadyn Benson (Chicago, Ill.) and Aubrey Feaster II (Buffalo, NY), along with Andre Hayes (Ashburn, VA) scoring 4 points. In between, Shyheim Flanagan (Breaux Bridge, LA) scored 11 -points, which tremendously contributed to Penn State New Kensington's score of 37. Meanwhile, Bryce Phillips (Norfolk, VA) and Devin Green (Rochester, NY) helped Penn State Greater Allegheny catch up to 36 points.

After back- to- back close calls, Donaven Johnson (Houston, TX) kept Penn State New Kensington in the lead by earning them 5 more points within the last minute of the first half.

The first half ended at PSNK 46 to Greater Allegheny at 44.

Continuous close calls started the second half. Yet, Ta'Rasi Means (Plum, PA) and Feaster, along with Benjamin Cunningham (Woodbridge, VA), helped PSNK stay in the lead. Johnson, Flanagan, and Cunningham continued the fight, earning PSNK to 70.

Penn State Greater Allegheny added points one- by- one and earned an additional six points from Jeremiah Miller (Philadelphia, PA), leaving them at 79 points. From there, Greater Allegheny stayed in the lead while PSNK collected 17 more points.

Penn State New Kensington took a loss with 87 points, and Penn State Greater Allegheny won with 95.

Team Leads:

Aubrey Feaster II, Shyheim Flanagan, and Benjamin Cunningham contributed tremendously to PSNK's score.

Feaster had an overall score of 22 points. Seven of which he scored in the first half, followed by 15 being shot during the second.

Flanagan scored 11 points of his total of 17 in the first half. He totaled out in the second half, where he earned his additional six points.

Cunningham scored a total of 16 points. Six of which he scored in the first half, followed by scoring 10 more in the second.
