Schuylkill, PA - New Kensington traveled to Penn State Schuylkill on Friday night for a Conference showdown. 

New Kensington started off slow but battled the whole first half. New Ken held the lead a majority of the first half but ended the half behind by 4 points, 46-42.

New Kensington took the first strike in the second half to narrow the lead. Schuylkill battled to keep the lead but with the efforts of the Lion's they tied the game up with 3 minutes and 40 seconds left in the game. The score went back and forth until Schuylkill scored with seconds remaining on the clock to take the lead 84-83. New Kensington called a timeout with 2.8 seconds remaining. New Ken inbounded the ball around half court to Tarasi Means (Plum, PA) who turned and shot and made the game-winning 3-pointer to give the Lion's the win, 86-84. 

Tarasi Means (Plum, PA) led the Lion's with 30 points, Aubrey Feaster II (Buffalo, NY) had 19 points and Benjamin Cunningham (Woodbridge, VA) had 15 to round off the Lion's offense.
