New Kensington falls on the road to Hazleton, Schuylkill

HAZLETON, Pa. – Over the weekend, Penn State New Kensington dropped two conference road games, falling to Penn State Hazleton on Friday 70-66 and to Penn State Schuylkill on Saturday 81-44. New Kensington falls to 4-8 overall and 2-6 in the PSUAC.

On Friday, Joseph Dusabe (Toronto, Ont./Fox Chapel) led New Kensington with 16 point, while Shyheim Flanagan (St. Martinville, La./Westside) contributed 13 points. Evan Clarke (Aston, Pa./Garnet Valley) added eleven points and a team-high six assists, while Benjamin Cunningham (Woodbridge, Va./Christ Chapel Academy) also had eleven points. Manny Dotson (Pittsburgh, Pa./Nazareth Prep) grabbed a team-high ten rebounds.

Against Schuylkill, Shyheim Flanagan (St. Martinville, La./Westside) came through with a team-high in twelve points, while Dusabe added nine points. Cunningham and Dotson led the team with nine rebounds apiece.

New Kensington is back in action when they face Chatham University on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 1 p.m.
