Buzz Beater drops New Kensington 70-67 at Dubois

DuBois, PA- An interesting game played out at Penn State DuBois on a cold Tuesday night. The game started in a lack of offensive with the score being at a 6-6 dead lock five minutes into the game. The game picked up some offensive momentum through the first and second half until Tristan Pierce tied the score at 67 with two minutes left. Hefty defensive from both sides brought the game down to the final shot, when Dakota passed to Gustin Conde who sank a 3 pointer as time expired.

Lou Payne paced New Kensington with 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals. Joret Chambers once again had a double-double scoring 12 points, and pulling down 10 rebounds. Conde finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 buzz-beater to lead DuBois.

Penn State New Kensington (7-14) will take on Penn State Fayette tomorrow at 7:00 PM.
