Penn State New Kensington couldn't muster enough offense to overcome Penn State Mont Alto, falling 6-1 in a challenging baseball matchup.

Penn State Mont Alto got off to a quick start with James Sibert's two-run homer in the first inning, giving them an early 2-0 lead. They extended their lead in the fifth inning with Wyatt Kissel's two-run homer, making it 4-0.

In the bottom of the sixth, Braden Tristani provided a glimmer of hope for Penn State New Kensington with a solo home run, cutting the deficit to 4-1.

However, Penn State Mont Alto responded in the seventh inning, as Caiden Smith launched a two-run homer, further extending their lead to 6-1.

Despite efforts to rally, Penn State New Kensington couldn't generate enough offense to overcome the deficit, ultimately falling short.
