Myrtle Beach, SC - Penn State New Kensington played against Penn State Hazelton on Monday. Braden Tristani (Sarver, PA) drove in four runs on four hits to lead New Kensington past Hazelton. 

New Ken got on the board in the top of the first after Tristani singled, and Max Oliveri (Pittsburgh, PA) tripled, each scoring one run. 

PSNK added to their early lead in the third after Jobeth Diaz Osorio (Fajordo, PR) doubled, and Karter Weitzel hit into a double play, each scoring one run.

Hazelton took the lead in the fifth, scoring six runs on four hits to take a 7-5 lead. 

New Ken tied the game in the sixth with a triple by Tristani, and a single by Diaz. PSNK took the lead in the seventh, scoring five runs on six hits to take a 12-7 lead. 

Hugo Player (Brooklyn, NY) earned the win for New Kensington. The southpaw allowed three hits and two runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one. Tristani started on the mound, allowing five hits and seven runs over five innings, striking out three.

New Ken piled up 15 hits in the game. Oliveri, Jared Busche ( Pittsburgh, PA), Miguel Garcia (Fajordo, PR), and Diaz each collected multiple hits.
