Lions Walks Away Victorious Over Chesapeake College, 4-3.

Vero Beach, FL - Lions wins contest against Chesapeake College, 4-3.

Chesapeake College got on the board in the second inning.

In the top of the seventh inning, Chesapeake College tied things up at three. Jeremy Patchett grounded out, scoring two runs.

The Lions notched three runs in the fourth inning. Senior catcher Reise Matson (Kittaning, PA) and junior outfielder, Jared Busche (Pittsburgh, PA) all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Sophomore pitcher, Nick Osborne (Hermitage, PA), was the winning pitcher for the Lions. The righthander surrendered three runs on four hits over seven innings, stirking out four and walking zero.

Nicholas Warrington took the loss for Chesapeake College. The lefthander surrendered three runs on two hits over five innings, striking out three.

Matson went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the Lions in hits.
