Ten Student-Athletes Garner USCAA Awards

New Kensington, PA - Ten Penn State New Kensington student-athletes were recognized by the United State Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) for their outstanding efforts in the classrom and or on the field/court.

Three were named "USCAA All-Americans" (Second Team) and one honorable mention. Six were named to the "USCAA All-Academic" team.

To be eligible for USCAA All-Americans, student-athletes must be nominated by their respective coach. From there, coaches from the USCAA will have the opportunity to vote on nominations for USCAA All-Americans

To be eligible for the USCAA All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have 24 ore more credits on their USCAA transcript and an overall (cummulative) grade point average of 3.5 (on a 4.0 point system) or greater.
