Tough Road Loss for the Lady Lions

Mont Alto, Pa. - The Lady Lions took to the road last night for a showdown with conference leader, Penn State mont Alto. New Kensington dropped three sets in succession (25-6, 25-12, 25-13) on their way to a 3-0 defeat.  New Kensington had a tough night on offense, finishing only 13 of 69 total attack attempts. Second year Emily Lewandowski (New Kensington, Pa.) led the team in kills.  The loss drops New Kensington to 1-9 overall and 1-4 in conference on the year.  The Lady Lions head to Penn State Du Bois on October 4th for their next conference match.  Stay up to date at psnkathletics.com
