VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Women's volleyball player Kaylea Flick (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) has garnered USCAA Division II Women's Volleyball All-American status for the second year in a row. This season Flick was included as an honorable mention selection after being a second team member a year ago.

Flick will graduate a year early from Penn State New Kensington in May after three years of college. In that short period of time, she has accumulated a good amount of hardware. Along with her two all-American awards, she has also twice been named to the PSUAC All-Conference Honorable Mention and has been a member of the USCAA National All-Academic Team twice. She has earned the PSUAC Academic All-Conference award in each of her seasons for New Kensington. She was also named the Penn State New Kensington Female Athlete of the Year for 2018-19.

This fall, she was tabbed as the USCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Student-Athlete of the Year. The award singles out the top student-athlete in the sport based on academic achievement and community engagement. In the spring, the YWCA Westmoreland County chose Flick as its Sportswoman of the Year for Excellence in a Team Sport.

This year, Flick ranked seventh among the nations leaders with 3.35 kills per set and fifth in points per set with 4.3. She finished her career with 548 kills, the most by a New Kensington player in recent recorded history.
