Volleyball Falls to CCBC on Day Two of PSUAC/WPCC Challenge

The Penn State New Kensington Women's Volleyball Team fell in straight sets to the Community College of Beaver County Saturday at the PSUAC/WPCC Challenge hosted by Penn State Beaver. 

Sophomore Gina Batiz and freshman Janet Surma each contributed 6 kills to lead the offense. Batiz also led the defense with 14 digs. Freshman Kaylea Flick contributed 10 assists, while Batiz had 9. 

New Kensington falls to 1-2 on the season.

The Lions play their home opener on Tuesday when they host Penn State Fayette in their first PSUAC match of the season. The first serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
