Penn State New Kensington Dominates Penn State Beaver in historic 9-0 Victory

Penn State New Kensington cruised to a commanding 9-0 victory over Penn State Beaver in their latest matchup, showcasing an overwhelming offensive performance. With seven different players contributing to the scoring effort, New Kensington controlled the game from start to finish, firing a total of 38 shots with 26 on goal. This was the program first ever win!! 

First Half:

Penn State New Kensington wasted no time getting on the board, with Bella Oskin scoring the opening goal at 11:04, unassisted. Oskin struck again later in the first half, doubling the lead at the 35:37 mark with another solo effort to make it 2-0 at halftime.

Second Half:

The second half was an offensive showcase for New Kensington, as they added seven more goals. Angelia Ferriola started the half with a goal at 48:29, followed by Samara Ayodele's first of the match at 58:36, assisted by Antonia Velasquez.

Taylor Carr scored twice in quick succession, first in the 61st minute from an Ayodele assist and again unassisted in the 73rd minute to bring the score to 6-0. Ayodele then scored her second of the day at 75:28, and Kali Barnett joined the scoring with a goal at 76:58.

The final goal came from Air Wales, who capped off the dominating performance at 89:10 with a well-placed shot, sealing the 9-0 win.

Defensive Stand:

On the defensive end, Air Wales, who also scored the final goal, was rock solid in net, facing only one shot on goal and securing a clean sheet. Penn State Beaver struggled to mount any offensive pressure, managing just four total shots, only one of which was on target.
