MEDIA, Pa. – On Friday, November 19th, Penn State New Kensington Women's Basketball faced off against Penn State Brandywine in New Kensington's first conference match of the season. With the 69-24 loss, New Kensington moves to (0-5) on the year and Brandywine moves to (4-1).
The first quarter remained tight with the score tied 9-9. Ryliegh Beck (Saegertown, Pa. / Maplewood) and Shaylynne Boitnott (Meadville, Pa. / Meadville) combined for New Kensington's nine points. Beck had five points while Boitnott had the other four points. Brandywine began to pull away after the first quarter.
Boitnott led New Kensington in points with ten and in rebounds with nine.
New Kensington returns to the court on Saturday when they face off against Penn State Lehigh Valley. Tipoff is at 1:00p.m.
