NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State New Kensington Women's basketball team lost to Bethany College with the score of 82-21. This loss moves Penn State to (0-4) on the season and improves Bethany College to (3-1).
Shaylynne Boitnott (Meadville, Pa. / Meadville) led the Lions in scoring with nine points. Deshaya Chavis (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) was next in line in scoring totals with six points while also adding five rebounds. Ryliegh Beck (Saegertown, Pa./Maplewood) grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
The Lions start conference play as they face Penn State Brandywine on Friday, Nov. 19. Tipoff is set for 6:00p.m.
