Penn State New Kensington couldn't overcome Penn State Beaver, ultimately falling short with a final score of 4-1. Despite a valiant effort, New Kensington struggled to capitalize on scoring opportunities, allowing Beaver to secure the win.

Mackenzie Boyd's impressive triple to right-center field drove in two runs, bringing Valentina Sandoval and Megan Crane home, giving Beaver a 2-0 advantage. Penn State New Kensington fought back in the bottom of the third inning when Piper Zufall doubled to left-center field, driving in Addyson Gregg, narrowing the gap to 4-1. However, they were unable to produce further runs, as Beaver's pitching held them at bay for the remainder of the game.
Pitching was a key factor for both teams, with Kierstyn Mays, Gabbey Flynt, and Mackenzie Boyd combining efforts for Beaver to limit New Kensington to just one run on four hits.
