New Kensington Grabs Lead In Fifth Inning To Defeat Northwestern Ohio
Clermont, FL - The Lions ran off with the lead late in the game in an 8-5 victory over Unversity of Northwestern Ohio on Thursday. The game was tied at five with New Kensington batting in the bottom of the fifth when an error scored two runs for PSNK.
The Lions captured the lead in the second inning. New Kensington scored three runs when Kali Barnett singled.
PSNK notched five runs in the second inning. The Lions scored its runs on a single by Keeghan Cook.
Madison Hoyt led things off in the pitcher's circle for the Lions. The pitcher lasted four and a third innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out three.
Addyson Gregg went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead PSNK in hits.
