An undermanned New Kensington men's soccer team suffered a 3-2 loss at the hands of Westmoreland County Community College on Wednesday in Youngwood. The team only brought 12 men to the game, opting to rest a few players in order to be at full strength when they face conference opponent Penn State Hazleton this Saturday. The Wolfpack was able to score 2 goals before New Kensington could get on the board in the final minute of the 1^st half. The goal came off the head of Perry Sciulli, who was assisted by J.D. DeMarco on the play. WCCC would stretch their lead to 3-1 after scoring off of a misplayed ball by the Lions defense in the 55^th minute. Adam Bombalski scored New Ken's second goal off of a free kick in the 68^th minute to cut the lead in half and give the game its eventual final score of 3-2. The Lions return to action this Saturday when they face Penn State Hazleton at Valley High School at 2 p.m.
