Bio

Brant Mack enters his third year and second season at the helm of the Penn State New Kensington men’s basketball program in 2022-23.

Mack was announced as the Head Coach on October 26, 2020 and immediately guided PSNK into unchartered territory. His recipe of success transformed a 4-14 program into a PSUAC contender in his first season. PSNK finished the 2021-22 season with a record of 14-14, a ten-win increase over the previous season, marking the most wins and first 500 plus season in over a decade. The ten-game increase propelled PSNK to the third largest turnaround in the country (USCAA). Additionally, PSNK hosted its first home playoff game since 2008, a victory that earned PSNK its first playoff win in as many years.

Freshman Aubrey Feaster II was named a PSUAC All-conference honorable mention selection. The team also saw seven players earn PSUAC Academic All-Conference accolades including: Austin Arnold, Evan Clarke, Jovan Kojic, Shyheim Flanagan, Jiaan Shehhat, two-time honoree Jared Sidwell and three- time honoree Joe Dusabe.

Mack previously served as the lead assistant coach at PSNK for three seasons and was integral in developing USCAA All-American Doran Broadwater as well as three PSUAC all-conference performers. In his role, he assisted in all aspects of the program including practice and game preparation, player development, recruiting and scouting.

Mack played collegiately at Division I Loyola University in Baltimore Md. He was a four-year letterman and earned Mid Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic honors while co-captaining the Greyhounds his senior year. Mack graduated from Loyola University with a B.A. in Business Marketing and earned a Master’s Degree from Point Park University.
