New Kensington Wins in Overtime

New Kensington, PA - New Kensington hosted PSU Scranton on Saturday for a Conference Crossover showdown. 

New Kensington took the lead first with a jumper from Benjamin Cunningham (Woodbridge, VA). Scranton answered with a 3-pointer, then Aubrey Feaster (Buffalo, NY) answered with a 3-pointer for New Ken to take the lead. Both teams battled back and forth to finish the first half 35-34 New Kensington. 

Like the first half, the second half was a back and forth battle, ending in a tie 80-80 and sending the game into overtime. 

In overtime, New Kensington took control, and took the win 101-87.

New Ken had two players with double-doubles, Benjamin Cunningham, with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Jadyn Benson (Chicago, IL) with 14 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Shyheim Flanagan (Breaux Bridge, LA) led the team with 23 points and Feaster put up 20 points in the game.
