NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. - Freshman Jakob Richardson (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton LaSalle) was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference men's basketball player of the week for the week ending December 9.

Richardson averaged a double-double with 24 points per game and 13 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for Penn State New Kensington. In a 98-89 victory over Penn State DuBois, Richardson led New Kensington with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Against Westmoreland County Community College, Richardson picked up 25 points and 12 rebounds, while also grabbing a game-high five steals.
