Men's Basketball Suffers Loss to PSU Greater Allegheny, 77-61

McKEESPORT, Pa. - The Penn State New Kensington men's basketball team suffered a 77-61 loss at Penn State Great Allegheny Tuesday night. The loss drops New Kensington's record to 4-7 overall and 2-4 in the PSUAC. Greater Allegheny improves to 9-4 overall, 4-1 in the PSUAC. 

Greater Allegheny jumped out to an early leady, leading 21-7 after just over seven minutes of play. The host maintained a similar lead the rest of the first half and led 38-26 at half-time. The second period proved to be much like the first with Greater Allegheny preserving at least a ten-point lead throughout.

Senior Dorian Broadwater (Homestead, Pa./Steel Valley) and junior Antonio Hill (West Mifflin, Pa./West Mifflin) each tallied 16 points to lead New Kensington. Junior Keith Corbett (Silver Springs, Md./Methodist) scored 15 points and grabbed a game-high 18 rebounds. 

New Kensington is on the road again this weeked for a pair of PSUAC games. Friday, they travel Penn State Mont Alto for a 8:00 p.m. tip-off. On Saturday, they face Penn State York at 2:00 p.m.
