Brandywine Slips Past New Kensington 85-76

New Kensington, PA- Penn State Brandywine earned it's first road victory of the season. Penn State New Kensington battled all game they never held the lead. In the second half Penn State New Kensington found themselves down 64-49 with ten minutes to go. A 12-0 run got the team within four with the help from a pair of three pointers from Alexander Smith. Lou Payne chipped in two fields goals to help the run. The two teams battled, but New Kensington never got closer than four as time expired.

Joret Chambers added another double-double on the season scoring 20 points, and grabbing 11 rebounds. Antonio Hill contributed a double-double as well tallying 22 points, and hauling in a a game high 15 rebounds. Brandywine was lead by Cyrie Spencer who scoring 21 points, and snagged 8 rebounds.

Penn State New Kensington (7-13) will be back on the road as they will take on Penn State Dubois next Tuesday. New Kensington won the first match up 80-72 on thier home floor. Tip-off will be at 8:00 PM.
