Hot Shooting Leads to Penn State New Kensington Victory

New Kensington, PA- Penn State New Kensington notched it's sixth win of season shooting 50.8 % from the field, blowing past Penn State Beaver 73-51. The visitors only led once during the whole game when Christian Perkins made the first shot of the game. After two straight Joret Chambers field goals, Penn State New Kensington never lost the lead.

Penn State New Kensington had an impressive night from their starters with 4 out of the 5 scoring in double figures. Antonio Hill led all scorers with 25 points, in addition Hill pulled down 8 rebounds. Lou Payne notched his first double-double of the year by scoring 14 points, and dishing out 10 assists. Payne just missed a triple-double recording 8 rebounds. Jordan Williams added 16 points, along with Joret Chambers who chipped in 10 points respectively. Christian Perkins was the leading scorer for Penn State Beaver tallying 16 points.

Penn State New Kensington (6-10) will host Penn State Schuylkill this Friday to round out their January schedule with the game tipping at 7:00 PM.
