Roanoke Handles Penn State New Kensington 126 to 86

Salem, VA- Penn State New Kensington faced a tough match-up against host team Roanoke College to kick off the Thanksgiving Tournament. Roanoke jumped out to a 9 to 0 lead until Jordan Williams made a lay-up at the 17:03 mark. After a jumper by Loren Wicks, Williams drained two straight three-pointers to put Penn State New Kensington within two. However that would be the closest the team would get to lead the rest of the game.

Dorian Broadwater paced Penn State New Kensington with 18 points, along with Jordan Williams who added 15 points. Roanoke's Joey Miller and John Fitchett each chipped in 18 points a piece.

Penn State New Kensington (3-3) will face Goucher College tomorrow at 12:00 PM for a chance at third place in the consolation game.
