Game Recap
First Inning Explosion Sets the Tone
The New Kensington bats wasted no time, erupting for seven runs in the first inning. Caden Rupert got things rolling with an RBI single, followed by Nat Greenslet's run-scoring hit. Miguel Garcia doubled in another run, and Jobeth Diaz Osorio kept the momentum going with an RBI single. The biggest blow of the inning came from Bryan Calderon, who laced a three-run double to extend the lead to 6-0. Calderon later scored on an error, making it 7-0 before Penn State Beaver could even step up to bat.
Relentless Offense Continues
New Kensington added another four runs across the second and third innings, with Chris Magnee and Caden Rupert each contributing RBI singles. The offensive onslaught continued in the fifth, as Miguel Garcia and Jobeth Diaz Osorio drove in additional runs, and walks to Calderon and Karter Weitzel pushed the lead to 15-5.
Penn State Beaver's Efforts to Rally
Beaver attempted to fight back in the third inning, capitalizing on an error and key hits by Nicholas Campbell and Nathan Doutt to plate three runs. Justin Lambert delivered a two-run triple in the fifth, but it wasn't enough to keep up with New Kensington's firepower.
