PSNK Baseball scuffles against Olivet Nazerene on Tuesday

The Penn State New Kensington Baseball team is still searching for its first win after dropping the first three games of the season in Vero Beach, Florida. After decisive losses on Monday and Tuesday to quality opponents the Nitanny Lions fell to Olivet Nazerene 20-2.

Jake Stackiewicz took the loss after going 3.1 innings allowing 15 runs despite a good effort. Ryan Binkley threw the final 3.2 allowing 5 runs and striking out 5 along the way.

Jacob Courtley, Darius Bennis, and Matt Kozub added a hit each including a double each for Courtley and Bennis to lead the offense.

The Diamond Lions return to action Wednesday at 10 a.m. against Trinity International. Dante Palmieri will get the start on the mound as the Lions look to crack the win collumn for a fourth straight day.
