New Kensington, PA--- Penn State Beaver went to PSU New Kensington on Monday for the first round of the 2012 PSUAC Men's Soccer playoffs. After finishing 5-5 during their conference regular season, Beaver was to play on the road and go up against New Kensington, who finished with a 7-3 regular season record.
When the team's faced off in the regular season, Beaver fell to New Kensington in a heartbreaking 4-3 overtime loss. Unfortunately for Beaver, the result for this one ended the same as Beaver fell by a score of 4-1. Beaver got on the board with a goal from Tyler Blake (Crescent, Moon) and the assist was collected by Juan Castano (Coraopolis, Moon). The loss ends Beaver's season as they are knocked out of the playoffs.
