Player of the Week 5: Elliot Ferrent

This week's Penn State New Kensington Athlete of the Week is Sophomore, Women's Volleyball player Elliot Ferrent due to her strong offensive efforts, resilience, and coachability. This week Elliot played in 4 games against PSUAC competitors, Penn State Hazleton, Penn State Scranton, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and Penn State Wilkes-barre. Ferrent was a key contributor to helping the team secure three out of four wins during the PSUAC crossover event.
The team is now 7-12 overall and 3-5 in PSUAC play for the season. Their next game will be on October 12th at home against Penn State Fayette at 7pm. Be sure to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
