BCCC Defeats New Kensington volleyball in three sets

BUTLER, Pa. - The Penn State New Kensington women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference matchup at Butler County Community College Monday evening. BCCC won the match in three sets, 25-19, 25-10, 25-23. The loss drops New Kensington's record to 7-11.

Sophomore outside hitter Kaylea Flick (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) had nine kills and three blocks, while sophomore middle blocker Brittany Kotvas (Pittsburgh, Pa./Plum) had five kills, four aces and two blocks. Leading the defense was senior Cora Rejniak (Gibsonia, Pa./Deer Lakes) who posted eight digs. Freshman Erin Tumas (Vandergrift, Pa./Kiski Area) recorded seven digs, while junior setter Lindsey Hessom had 16 assists.
