 Coach Marsili returns to the diamond at his alma mater for his 12th season as head coach of the softball team.Coach Marsili looks to the 2023 season with the goal of another playoff run. 

Marsili's 2021 squad finished the year at 13-14 overall and 11-11 in PSUAC conference play to finish third in the west. The team went on to win their first playoff game and comete in the final four of the PSUAC tournament. His team was one team removed from earning a bid to the small college world series. 

Coach Marsili has developed many all conference players and recently two USCAA first team all americans. 

Having grown up on the Alle-Kiski Vallet, Coach Marsili is familiar with the New Kensington area and the neighboring communities. He attended Kiski Area High School where he played Baseball for three years. After graduating he attended Penn State New Kensington where he continued his baseball career. He played two season for head coach Bob Darby. 

Coach Marsili has coached numourous Baseball and Softball teams around the area, making a number of playoffs aswell as winning championships. He was an assistant varsity Baseball coach at Leechburg High School from 1988 to 1993 where he won five section titles. He took his love for Baseball and turned it into more success on thr diamond one again, but this time in the sport of Softball. As a coach of a travel Softball team from 2000 to 2007, Coach Marsili had outstanding success as his team placed in the top 3 80% of the time. He also coached a local rec ball team winning five league championships and accumulated an astonishing record of 75-4. As an assistant Softball coach at Kiski Area from 2002 to 2006, Coach Marsilli contributed to the teams three section titles.
