In this game between Penn State New Kensington and Penn State Hazleton, New Kensington got off to a strong start, scoring two runs by the bottom of the second inning However, Hazleton responded with one run in the third inning and three more in the fourth inning, tying the score up 4-4 after four innings.
New Kensington didn't let up. They rallied in the bottom of the fourth inning, scoring two more runs to tie the game, thanks to a double from sophomore Addyson Gregg. Then, in an explosive fifth inning, New Kensington finished Hazleton off with a three RBI single from sophomore Olivia Waldrop, a two run homerun from freshman Linda Shepard, and a walk-off sacrifice fly from Addyson Gregg.
