New Kensington Softball Wraps Up Season Against Du Bois.

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. - The Penn State New Kensington softball team wrapped up its season Thursday against Penn State Du Bois. Completed a suspended game from Apr. 11, Du Bois hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to take the first game 13-12. Du Bois also took the second game 18-8. 

In the first game, Morgan Williams (East Berlin, Pa.) connected on two doubles and racked up four runs batted in. Erika Finn (New Kensignton, Pa.), Kaylea Flick (Murrysville, Pa.), and Brittney Wolford (Lower Burrell, Pa.) each had three hits, while Lauren Torgent (Brackenridge, Pa.) and Rebecca Wilhelm (Leechburg, Pa.) had two hits a piece. 

In game two, Torgent and Wolford each had two hits, while Finn tallied two RBI.

New Kensington finishes the season at 1-23 and 1-17 in the PSUAC, while Du Bois finishes at 5-17 and 5-15 in the PSUAC.
