MONACA, Pa. - Penn State Beaver swept Penn State New Kensington in PSUAC softball action Monday afternoon. Beaver won both games, 8-0. New Kensington falls to 1-21 overall and 1-15 in the PSUAC. Beaver improves to 22-12 and 15-15 PSUAC and clinches a share of the top spot in the PSUAC West Division.

New Kensington was held to five hits for the afternoon. Sophomore Stephanie Schrecengost (Rural Valley, Pa.) had two hits, while Erika Finn (New Kensington, Pa.), Sarah Turner (Greensburg, Pa.), and Morgan Williams (East Berlin, Pa.) each picke up one hit. 

New Kensington returns to action tomorrow for a home PSUAC double header against Penn State Mont Alto. The first pitch is set for 2:00 p.m.
