Men's Soccer Ends Season in PSUAC Semifinal

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. - The Penn State New Kensington men's soccer team saw its season come to an end in the PSUAC Semifinals at the hands of Penn State Beaver, 9-1. The Lions, reaching the semifinals for the third year in a row, finished the season 9-6 overall.

Beaver came out on fire, scoring four goals in the first fifteen minutes of play. Despite New Kensington's efforts, Beaver continued to dominate, eventually extending the lead to 9-0. 

With under five minutes left to play, freshman defender Gerald Butler Jr. (Brackenridge, Pa./Highlands) scored New Kensington's lone goal. Senior goalkeeper Joshua Zakrzewski (Finleyville, Pa./Ringgold) totaled nine saves for the Lions.
