Pitt-Johnstown Defeats Men's Soccer, 3-0

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - Penn State New Kensington men's soccer dropped a non-conference match-up to host Pitt-Johnstown Saturday afternoon. New Kensington's record falls to 0-2, while Pitt-Johnstown improves to 2-1. 

The two teams played 35 scoreless minutes before Pitt-Johnstown's D.J. Vogelman scored his first of two goals of the game. Over the next 13 minutes, Pitt-Johnstown found the net twice more to bring the final score to 3-0. 

Freshman Chris Zolet produced 13 saves in goal for the Nittany Lions. 

New Kensington next travels to Geneva College on Monday, Sept. 10 for a 7:30 p.m. game.
