Bikanura, Zakrzewski earn PSUAC Weekly Honors
Bikanura earns Player of the Week; Zakrzewski, Goalie of the Week
Penn State New Kensington senior Pascal Bikanura was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Player of the Week, while sophomore Joshua Zakrzewski earned PSUAC Goalie of the Week honors.
Bikanura totaled three goals and two assists in a 1-0-1 week. The senior scored two goals and added an assist in Penn State New Kensington's 3-3 tie against Penn State York. He followed up with one goal and one assist against non-conference Westmoreland County Community College.
Zakrzewski had an outstanding week in goal for Penn State New Kensington, recording 16 saves. He made 9 saves against Penn State York and returned the next day to make 7 saves against WCCC while not allowing any goals.
Penn State New Kensington is back in action on Saturday, as they host Penn State Worthington Scranton at 2:00 p.m.
