Wilkes-Barre Takes Game off New Kensington in Men's Basketball

LEHMAN, Pa. – Penn State Wilkes-Barre took a game off of Penn State New Kensington in tonight's match, 114-69. This places New Kensington 7-9 overall and 3-7 in the conference.

Although New Kensington was unable to close the gap on Wilkes-Barre, the team made great efforts to catch up. Jakob Richardson (Pittsburgh, Pa./ Seton LaSalle) led the Lions in 22 points. Thomas Gilmore (Sharon, Pa./ Grit Sports Academy) was right behind with 18 points and had the most rebounds, eight. Another player who put up numbers on the board was Wilson Rojas (Pittsburgh, Pa./ Havelock), 15. Rojas also added four rebounds.

Penn State New Kensington will play next at Penn State Shenango on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m.
