Broadwater Lands Spot on PSUAC All-Conference 2nd Team

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. - Penn State New Kensington senior gaurd Dorian Broadwater (Homestead, Pa./Steel Valley) capped his phenomenal senior season by earning Penn State University Athletics Conference 2nd Team honors, the conference announced today. 

Broadwater tallied 445 points on the year, which helped him finish with 1,151 career points.  His 22.3 points per game ranked 2nd in the PSUAC and 4th in the USCAA. He was also one of the best in the PSUAC from the charity stripe, connecting on 83 percent of his attempts.

Broadwater's season was highlighted by scoring his 1,000th career point against Penn State Beaver on Jan. 23. His career high of 40 points came on Feb. 2 against Penn State Greater Allegheny, one of the four times he eclipsed 30 points in the season. He surpassed 20 points in ten games this season, while also picking up three double-doubles.

The Nittany Lions, coached by Art McCray Jr., finished the season with a record of 4-17 and 2-13 in the PSUAC.
